Acceptance to EC Macomb
|
|
Students qualify for
admission based on completion of the application
process, performance record, placement test
results and application review.
Each participating high school allocates
seats to the ECM. If student
interest exceeds available space, enrollment
will be determined by a lottery of
qualified applicants from each participating
high school. Each high school will notify
applicants of the date/place/time of the lottery
and lottery results.
Parent Notification Letters Regarding
Student Applicant Status
When scoring of the ECM Admission Test is
completed and applications have been reviewed,
the following notifications will be made:

Parents will be notified if their
student does not qualify for the ECM. |

Parents will be notified if their
student qualifies but needs additional
assistance prior to the start of the
school year. |

|
Parents will be notified if their
student qualifies. The notification
letter will request a response in
writing by a certain date indicating an
acceptance of the invitation to attend
the ECM. This will reserve the student’s
seat for attendance at the ECM in the
upcoming school year. |

If the number of qualified students
exceeds available space, enrollment will
be determined by both lottery and
application review. Based upon lottery
results, parents of students who qualify
will receive a letter of acceptance with
a request for a response in writing by a
certain date indicating an acceptance of
the invitation to attend the ECM. This
will reserve the student’s seat for
attendance at the ECM in the upcoming
school year. |

are placed on a waitlist after the
lottery will be notified as openings
become available. |
